2. Start trutapping
Open the application and wait for it to connect. If this is the first time you are connecting, it may take a while. Once you're in, the first things you should do are:
Invite Friends
The more friends you have the better trutap gets! Invite your friends now:
Invite friends from your online address books e.g. Yahoo!, Gmail.
Or go to your trutap 'Contacts', select 'add contact', then import and invite your friends. Easy!
Add our Facebook Application
With the trutap facebook application, you can update your Facebook status by just sending a message from trutap. Why not add it to your facebook account?
Add your IM account
Go to 'IM' and add your IM account details. Within a few seconds you can start chatting to your friends.
Add your web accounts
Go to 'My Web' and add your Blogger, Flickr, Typepad or other web account details. You can then start posting text and photos online straight from your handset.
Start messaging!
Once you've got some trutap or IM contacts, you can start messaging for free immediately!

I'm having problems connecting
There are a number of reasons for this. You might not have the right phone settings, or your plan might not allow you to use the Internet. For tips on how to connect, click below.
Download to PC
You can also download the appropriate version of trutap to your PC and load it via bluetooth/wifi/cable on to your phone. You'll need to know exactly what handset you have to do this successfully.
